Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our MR Truck Driver in our friendly StarTrack Yandina team, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that. This is a full time permanent role working Mon-Fri with overtime. This role has full entitlements and pays overtime with an hourly rate of $31.26/hr + 12% superannuation.
You’ll be
- Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility
- Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
- Driving our modern trucks between our operational centers and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
- Returning to our operational centers to unload pick-ups
About you
You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to
- Hold a MR vehicle license or above
- Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of up to 30kg of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck
- Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
- Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
- You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
- Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
