Responsibilities
- Prepare the boiler room for plant operaÂtions and shut downs.
- Monitor the boiler pressure, water levels, and temperature of all machinery within the boiler area.
- Respond to all system alarms.
- Maintain the log and records on all gauge readings.
- Shut the system down for maintenance work, then bring it back on line.
- Monitor and control all boiler house functions (boilers, air compressors, chillers and dust collectors, etc.).
- Monitor and control Hydrothermal water storage and cooling towers.
Requirement
- High school diploma or Ged
- 2 years of mechanical maintenance or boiler room experience preferred.
- Job will involve tasks that require pushing/pulling, lifting, and handling materials of 50 pounds
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (3 on, 2 off schedule)
