As a School Cleaner, your responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining various areas within the school, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. You will work under the guidance of the Cleaning Supervisor and be expected to follow all Downer policies and procedures to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean all school areas
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets, sinks, and showers
- Handle waste disposal and replenish consumables
- Perform safety checks and clean equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and use PPE
About you:
- Prior cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying equipment
