Your day to day
- Perform daily inspections of guest rooms to ensure proper functioning of all equipment, lighting, plumbing, and furniture.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work for any room-related issues, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general room upkeep.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to minimize guest disruption.
- Ensure rooms are prepared and maintained in excellent condition before guest check-in.
- Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies needed for room repairs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols when performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Report any major malfunctions or problems to the Engineering Department or Maintenance Manager for further action.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to address any room-related issues that affect guest satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the work environment.
What we need from you
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or room technician roles preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
