Job Overview of An Accessory Fitter
Responsible for installing and fitting various accessories and components to vehicles or machinery to enhance their functionality and appearance.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
- Mechanical Qualification would be helpful but not essential.Â
Experience
- Experience in the 4WD, general automotive industry or someone mechanically minded.
- Automotive electrical wiring experience / knowledge is preferred or the ability to learn.
- Experience in a fast-paced, highly active workshop environment.
Your Duties As An Accessory Fitter
- Fitting accessories and parts as per work instruction.
- Working with and assisting all workshop team members to achieve common goals.
- Assisting with parts procurement when required.
- Liaising with Workshop Manager and sales team to assist with workshop scheduling and time management.
- Following all workshop WHS and SOP procedures.
- Caring for, and looking after all workshop tools and equipment.
- Keeping the workshop clean and tidy.
- Fitting of Suspension and GVM upgrades are another part of our business having experience in this field would be viewed favourably.
