Here’s what the role is as Airfield Manager:

• You’ll be the maestro, orchestrating project delivery from the get-go to the grand finale. This isn’t just about keeping things on track; it’s about leading from the front, engaging with stakeholders, untangling complex issues, and crafting a project delivery roadmap that includes everyone on the journey.
• As the Project Manager, you’ll be the glue that binds, guiding and uniting internal teams to ensure the project’s success. Your portfolio will be as varied as it is exciting, covering everything from regulatory updates to the latest in operational tech, including AI.

What will you be doing?

• Setting the stage with a solid project governance structure.
•  Leading the charge in stakeholder engagement, nailing down the project essentials.
•  Juggling the Pre-Concept Design with our in-house wizards and external geniuses when needed.
•  Aligning on project goals, costs, and timelines with the big guns: Business Owner, Programme Lead, and Investment Planning.
•  Steering the ship through the seas of approvals and documentation.
•  Being the go-to person for project delivery and stakeholder chatter.
•  Crafting and getting the thumbs up on the Project Management Plan.
•  Managing the project’s heartbeat, from inception to any twists and turns along the way.
•  Syncing up the Concept & Detailed Design with internal and external talents.
•  Overseeing the Procurement dance with Supply Management.
•  Running the contract show.
•  Coordinating on-site action, ensuring everyone’s in sync.
•  Keeping the communication crystal clear with regular reporting.
•  Building strong client relationships at the project level.
•  Rallying your project team to cross the finish line with flying colors.
•  Broadcasting progress and updates far and wide within the organization.
•  Making sure all DA governance processes are in check.
•  Reporting on the project with precision and punctuality.
•  Being the go-to for best practices and helping fine-tune our project management game.

What skills do you need?

•  A knack for leading projects and wrangling stakeholders.
•  The smarts to solve complex problems, whether they’re technical, operational, or people-related.
•  A wizard at Project Delivery and Stakeholder Engagement Plans.
•  A pro at juggling project schedules, managing risks, keeping an eye on the budget, and handling procurement and contracts.
• Experience in getting operations up and running smoothly.
•  A whiz with Microsoft Office.
