AJK Power Development Organization Invites Applications for Project Directors Full Time Government Jobs Permanent Jobs

The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Organization (AJK PDO) has announced job opportunities for the positions of Project Directors on a contract basis. These positions are for the Saudi-funded hydropower projects, Shounter (48 MW) and Jagran-IV (22 MW), located in District Neelum, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) from an HEC-recognized university and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
• Experience: At least 15 years of post-qualification professional experience in the public or private sector, focusing on planning, management, and execution of hydropower projects. Expertise in project management fundamentals, risk management, and procurement procedures is essential.
• Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.

• Applications, along with CVs and attested copies of relevant documents (CNIC, educational certificates/degrees, experience certificates, two passport-sized photographs, and other supporting documents), should be sent to the office of the Managing Director, AJK PDO, via registered courier.
• The deadline for submitting applications is 28.11.2024.
• Applications submitted after the deadline, or those that are incomplete or missing required documents, will not be considered.
• Government, Semi-Government, and PDO employees must submit their applications through the proper channels.

Important Notes:

• Appointments will be made on an extendable contract basis, contingent on satisfactory performance.
• The salary package will align with BPS/PPS-19 as stated in the PC-1.
• These advertised positions are strictly project-based and will be automatically abolished upon project completion.
