Job Overview of a Butcher

A Butcher at Majid Al Futtaim is responsible for mincing, meat marination, preparing required portions of meat in line with the customer’s requirements, section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures. The role holder is also responsible for weighing meat, wrapping it and putting it out for display.

• 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Your Duties As A Butcher

• Apply meat preparation and processing methods and techniques to prepare products as per the customers’ requests and butchery’s standard operating procedures.
• Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat.
• Prepare and place meat cuts and products on display counter as per the defined guidelines.
• Assist customers in their product inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote add on sales and remain aware of all promotions and advertisements.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures.
