Transguard Group, a leader in providing innovative business support and outsourcing solutions, is on the lookout for a dedicated Buyer in the Procurement department. Your New Role as Buyer

As our Buyer, you’ll take the helm of specific procurement projects, aligning with the strategic direction set by our Head of Department and the unique needs of our Business Units. You’ll be the architect of the project plan, managing costs and ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.

What You’ll Do

•  Collaborate closely with our team to refine Purchase Requests and Scope of Work documents, ensuring precision and clarity for optimal acquisition and application.
•  Spearhead the bidding process, crafting and distributing RFPs, RFQs, and managing e-sourcing and e-auctions.
•  Craft and oversee contractual agreements, from Purchase Orders to Service Maintenance Agreements, ensuring all documentation meets our high standards for management approval.
•  Keep meticulous records of all procurement dealings, from tenders to contracts.
•  Navigate vendor relationships with finesse, managing delivery schedules, addressing non-conformances, and maintaining harmonious end-user relations.
•  Venture into new vendor territories, gather pricing data, and conduct market research to bolster proposal development.
•  Convert approved Purchase Requests into Purchase Orders swiftly, adhering to our service level agreements.
•  Collaborate with our store team to keep inventory levels and materials in check.
•  Uphold the integrity of our procurement processes, ensuring compliance with our standard operating procedures.
•  Lend a hand to your colleagues in Contracts and Procurement, sharing the workload and knowledge.
•  Facilitate vendor access by coordinating with Security for gate pass approvals.
•  Guard the confidentiality of company documents with the utmost care.
•  Stand ready to support procurement audits and inspections.

Your Toolkit

•  A rich background with 7-10 years in purchasing or contracts.
•  Mastery of Microsoft Office suite.
•  A history of procurement in Facility Management and particularly in Soft and Hard Services, is highly regarded.
•  A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience, is needed
•  Professional Procurement certifications will set you apart.
