Key Responsibilities as Cargo Assistant:

Documentation and Reporting:

You’ll be responsible for preparing and verifying accurate cargo documentation. It’s crucial to keep track of currency information and the status of consignments. Additionally, you’ll update flight handling reports and produce routine reports for flight shifts, ensuring all service standards are met.

Monitoring and Support:

Your role involves monitoring for any irregularities or discrepancies in cargo handling and providing support in cargo commercial activities. This is vital for maintaining our high service and quality standards.

Data Management:

You’ll input statistical and operational data into our database. This is key to generating productivity reports that help in assessing and enhancing our operational efficiency.

Communication:

Ensuring timely and effective communication is a core part of your role. You’ll facilitate information flows within the team and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Background: A high school diploma or ‘O’ level equivalent is required.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a Cargo Handling Agent (CHA) or an airline.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cargo or related environments is beneficial.
• Training: Basic safety, cargo, and ground handling courses are advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Internet and MS Office applications.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both written and verbal English is essential.
