Job Purpose of A Cashier / Teller
The job purpose of a cashier/teller is to accurately process financial transactions and provide exceptional customer service.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or accounting with strong accounting knowledge.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ Accounts experience.
Skills Required
- Confident communicator with excellent conflict resolution ability.
- Excellent IT and Excel management skills and experience preparing receipts and invoices from the ERP.
Your Duties
- Accounts Receivable & PDC Management and preparation of monthly reports- Receivables & Debt.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers and collect payments whether in cash or credit.
- Ensuring information is on time, accurate and understandable and assist with query resolutions and resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
- Assist with VAT and Tax returns and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets and processing invoices accurately and on time.
- Work to process and minimize debit notes, ledger maintenance and track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
