Claims Supervisor Job in Dubai Full Time

We’re looking for a dedicated Claims Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. This role involves working closely with the Revenue Cycle Manager to implement effective operating procedures and guidelines, particularly focusing on insurance preapprovals. Your primary responsibilities will include obtaining timely authorizations for our facility, managing preauthorization rejections, and providing essential support and guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities as Claims Supervisor:

•  Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for insurance preapprovals in collaboration with the Revenue Cycle Manager.
•  Ensure prompt acquisition of authorizations as required by various insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), in line with patient plan coverage.
•  Address and resolve issues related to rejected preauthorization requests.
•  Offer assistance, guidance, and coaching to team members, enhancing their performance in alignment with the organization’s objectives.
•  Conduct regular audits of both inpatient and outpatient insurance preapproval requests, sharing findings with the team and implementing performance improvement plans.
•  Uphold high standards of technical proficiency and patient confidentiality in all insurance preapproval tasks.
•  Provide leadership and mentorship to the insurance Approval Team, addressing their concerns and acting as a key resource
•  Ensure timely submission and follow-up of Pre-Approval requests with insurance companies/TPAs.
•  Handle queries from insurance companies/TPAs and coordinate with relevant departments promptly.
•  Manage second opinion cases and case management, including evaluation and escalation processes.
•  Prepare and assist in the generation of daily and monthly reports for management.
•  Participate in audits and meetings, and deliver presentations as required.
•  Train front office staff, receptionists, and nurses on insurance details.
•  Manage the scheduling of the insurance approval team to ensure adequate coverage.
•  Apply medical knowledge and best practices in auditing/reviewing claims before submission.
•  Ensure compliance with regulators’ standards, particularly regarding claim adjudication rules.
•  Handle the resubmission of rejected claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed price lists and provider manuals.
•  Update Billing officers on rejections and corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
•  Coordinate with doctors for claim justification and prepare for resubmission.
•  Submit claims with accurate coding and formatting within stipulated timelines.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
•  Minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance Claims management/adjudication.
•  Proficiency in Medical Coding (ICD, CPT, DRG, HCPCS).
•  Excellent command of oral and written English.
•  Ability to work flexibly under pressure.
•  Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
