Job Purpose of A Cook
The job purpose of a cook is to prepare and create delicious and appealing meals, ensuring high-quality food and a positive dining experience for customers.
Eligibility Criteria
Certification
- Certificate lll or lV in commercial cooking or other relevant trade certificate or relevant years experience.
Experience
- Experience in bulk cooking and food preparation.
Skills Desired
- Working knowledge of the HACCP principles food safety standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership & communication skills.
- Ability to order stock and maintain budget.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
Your Duties As A Cook
- Overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Ensuring the highest standards in quality of services and food production.
- Ensuring the delivery of nutritious and flavourful food to patients, residents, and staff.
