Job Purpose of A Cook
The job purpose of a cook is to prepare and create delicious and appealing meals, ensuring high-quality food and a positive dining experience for customers.
Eligibility Criteria
- A completed culinary apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
Your Duties As A Cook
- Expressing your creativity and passion for cooking
- Delivering top class customer service to a high standard and quality
- Supporting the provisions of foodservice operations under the direction of senior management
- Constantly learning and developing your skills/knowledge
- Working hours that will allow you to maintain a healthy work life balance.
Skills Desired
- Excellent customer and people relationship skills.
- Safe food hygiene handling certificates Safe Food NZQA 167, 168, 20666 or 27955.
- A positive ‘can do attitude’, always ready to go the extra mile.
- A team first attitude.
- The ability to work rostered shifts.
- The right to work in NZ.
