In this role, you will pick up pathology specimens and drop reports and supplies to medical centers and Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology collection centers across the region. There will also be a requirement to perform administration tasks when receiving specimens picked up on the courier runs.In addition, you’ll be able to ensure the transport of pathology specimens, stores and medical records happens in a timely manner. You will also have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team which includes couriers, pathology specimen collectors and other laboratory staff, be able to priorities tasks and work to a schedule, and have a proven ability to work efficiently and accurately.
What we are looking for
Preferred applicants will have a current working knowledge of Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology courier services. This position includes basic vehicle maintenance, use of mobile devices, printers, reports and store delivery.
Applicants must have held a driving license for a minimum of 6 years, have knowledge of the Townsville region, have a proven background in customer service and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
