Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the post of Deputy Program Officer (Environmental & Social Management) on contract basis. It is a body corporate that may seek technical and financial resources from any bilateral and multilateral donor organization. The General Body and the Board of Directors (BoDs), predominantly comprising the civil society, are the main steering and policy making authorities. Planning & Development (P&D), Finance and Local Government & Community Development (LG & CD) Departments have representation in BoDs of PMDFC. PMDFC management is headed by a Managing Director and the organization has Institutional Development, Engineering, Finance & Administration, Procurement & Environment and Internal Audit sections.

Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the integration of environmental and social considerations into program planning and implementation.

Pre Requisites For The Post of A Deputy Program Officer

• 16 years of education or higher degree in Environmental Engineering / Sciences from a HEC recognized University.
• Minimum four (04) years of post-qualification experience of professional and technical experience with increasing level of responsibility in environmental analysis.
• Must have demonstrated experience in developing IEEs, EIAs and EMMPs required under public sector environmental regulations.
• Experience of preparing Social Assessment Report (SAR), Social Management Plans (SMPs), Resettlement & Rehabilitation Action Plans (RAPs) as required in compliance with ESF.
• Working knowledge of Local Government Systems and regulatory framework will be an added advantage.
• Maximum age limit is 45 years.
