Pre Requisites For The Post of A Director IT

• BS in IT or relevant discipline (min 16 years’ education) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience in network and/or system administration and/or software project management within higher education sector or substantially large enterprise(s).
• An additional 2 years’ experience as a Head of IT Department within higher education is mandatory.
• Candidates having professional certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, HCNA, HCNP, and MCSE, will be preferred.
• Sound technical background/knowledge and hand-on experience of LANs, Wi-Fi, datacenter, Windows and Linux servers, server virtualization, and firewalls is required.
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of networks and systems, administration of CMS/LMS/ERP and website, and software project management.
• Expertise in data center management, data governance and security, project management and technical writing.
• Excellent knowledge of industry standards and large campus systems and network.
