Lake View Dairy LLC. is a family-owned dairy, milking 1000 cows and farming 2000 acres of corn & alfalfa. They are looking for a self-motivate, qualified farm worker to help on their daily farm operations in Gowen, MI, USA. Job duties will include operating equipment, irrigation work, general farm & shop maintenance work. Guaranteed hours year around, averaging 60 hr weeks. • Assist with milking cows and maintaining milking equipment.
• Feed and care for dairy cows.
• Operating equipment during spring and fall seasons
• Operating equipment during alfalfa cuttings in the summer
• Helping with daily irrigation duties during the summer
• Hauling manure with tractor and tanker
• Building maintenance
• General equipment maintenance in the shop
• Assist with breeding and calving operations.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings and equipment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Eligibility Requirements for Farm Worker:

• Previous experience in dairy farming or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-Motivated and hard working
• Equipment operating experience
• General knowledge of shop and equipment maintenance

Working Conditions:
