Responsibilities of Farm Worker:
- Assist with the daily care and feeding of dairy cows, including milking procedures.
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment for the cows by cleaning barns and removing waste.
- Monitor cow health and report any signs of illness to the farm supervisor.
- Participate in milking equipment operation and cleaning (following proper hygiene protocols).
- Contribute to data collection and record keeping tasks related to milk production.
- Work collaboratively with other farm workers to ensure smooth daily operations.
Eligibility Criteria of Farm Worker:
- High school diploma or equivalent (prior experience in animal husbandry is a plus).
- Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of equipment and machinery operation is a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Flexibility to work in different departments as needed
