  • Operating farm machinery and equipment like tractors and irrigation systems to aid planting, cultivating, and harvesting activities efficiently.
  • Repairing fences, buildings, and equipment, including carpentry, welding, and basic mechanical repairs, to maintain them in good working condition.
  • Cleaning and maintaining farm facilities and equipment to prevent contamination, uphold cleanliness, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring and controlling pests and diseases by identifying issues and applying appropriate measures, such as pesticides and biological controls.
  • Assisting with irrigation systems by monitoring water levels, adjusting schedules, and ensuring proper water distribution to crops.
  • Following safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others on the farm.
  • Maintaining accurate records of planting dates, crop yields, pesticide applications, and equipment maintenance to track progress and ensure compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with agricultural regulations and standards related to crop cultivation, pesticide use, environmental protection, and worker safety.
  • Participating in farm activities as directed by supervisors, including harvesting crops, packing produce, and performing other essential farm duties.

Eligibility Criteria of Farm Worker:

  • High School diploma.
  • Basic safety training certifications.
  • Pesticide application certification.
  • Tractor and machinery operation certification may be benefical.
