Job Overview of A Farm Worker

Sorting and packing eggs, cleaning and setting up sheds, checking on birds and general farm duties.  To be successful you need to have a love for animals.

Eligibility Criteria

Skill Desired

• Good physical fitness and willingness to work in hot/dusty environment.
• Have reliable transport to work and have an excellent attendance and timekeeping record.
• Previous experience in working with live stock would be advantageous.
• Not be living with someone working on other poultry farms or have pigs or birds at home.
• Be able to adhere to strict bio security and health & safety standards.

Your Duties As A Farm Worker

• Working hours will be from 7:30 am to 16h30.
• Setting up sheds, weighing, egg collection.
• Routine checks of flock.
• Flock maintenance.
• Assisting Farm Manager with farm duties.
