The Role
We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Technician/Electrician to join our Service Team working in Tarragon and Victoria’s Gippsland Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
- Undertaking the maintenance, repairs, testing and installation of fire protection equipment to relevant Australian Standards including, but not limited to, Fire Alarms, Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting and other building safety features
- Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly image
- Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
- Completing service records with the use of smart device technology
- The position is a permanent full-time position and will require the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and be available to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.
What Are We Looking For
We are looking for a candidate who ticks the following boxes:-
- VIC Electrical License/Trade Qualification
- Current Driver’s License
- Experience in programming various fire panels
- Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
- A positive attitude, flexibility and great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Good personal presentation
- Willingness to develop skills in all areas of fire protection
