Job Overview of A Forklift Driver
Responsible for loading, unloading, and moving containers using a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
Eligibility Criteria
Skills RequiredÂ
- Physically fit – you will be assisting from time to time to manually unloading the containers repetitively in teams of 3-4 casuals per container.
- Able to work consistently and repetitively.
- Able to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Own transport is ideal.
- Must be available 5 days a week – Monday to Friday.
- Comfortable working in a chiller / freezer environment.
ExperienceÂ
- Previous forklift experience operating high reach forklift.
Your Duties As A Forklift Driver
- Loading trucks or unloading containers.
- Manually unloading 20-40ft Containers.
- Wrapping pallets for storage.
- Operating Electric Pallet Jack (training provided).
- Cleaning of dock area and containers.
- Loading and prepping of wrapped pallets with products ready for transport to stores.
- General warehouse duties.
