We’re on the lookout for a Gastroenterologist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch diagnostic and management services for patients grappling with gastrointestinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities of Gastroenterologist:
Deliver expert gastroenterology services in line with the privileges granted by our Credentials Committee.
 Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal diseases at our G.I Clinic.
 Skillfully perform a range of G.I procedures, including but not limited to upper and lower G.I endoscopies, liver biopsies, E.R.C.P., and oesophageal motility studies.
 Offer consultative and referral expertise for inpatient services within your specialty.
 Provide emergency G.I coverage after hours, on an on-call basis.
 Mentor and educate our endoscopy team, including nurses and technicians.
 Engage in quality assurance activities within the service, such as mortality and morbidity conferences, peer reviews, audits, and chart reviews.
Qualifications:
 A medical degree from a recognized institution.
 Completion of a 1-year rotating internship.
 A 3-year residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a 3-year specialized residency in Gastroenterology.
 A current medical license from your country of origin, along with a Specialist Gastroenterologist DOH license for practice in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
 At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the G.I field.
 A deep understanding of medical ethics, especially regarding patient confidentiality.
 A trustworthy and confident demeanor that earns patient trust easily.
 Compliance with the Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations of our Medical Organization.
 Fluency in English, with both oral and written communication skills. While not mandatory, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
 Good skills to interact positively with colleagues, superiors, patients, and their families.
