Maple leaf is inviting candidates for interview for the job of general farm worker Under the NOC 8431 for Manitoba Rural communities, Canada. Maple leaf offers $20/hr salary and full time package includes major medical, dental and life insurance and enrolment in the maple leaf pension plan. Weekly 40+ hours of work with weekend holiday hours. Experience is not required but preferred for the job.

Job Responsibilities

1. Feed and tend livestock
2. Perform and assist in performing breeding activities of farm animals
3. Operate and maintain Farm equipments
4. Detect diseases and health problems in crops and live stocks
5. Set and monitor water lines
6. Maintain and assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure

Eligibility Criteria

There are no specific education or training requirements as we provide job training in the farm, however, a certificate or related course will be preferred. Candidate must have basic farm knowledge and ability to learn. Positive work attitude and ethics are the key. Candidate must have ability to work under pressure and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience is not mandatory but will be preferred over fresh. Candidates having any disability, which does not restrict him from doing his work will be welcome.
