Position Summary

• As a key member of the patient experience team and reporting to the manager, the role of the Guest Ambassador is multifaceted, encompassing responsibilities that include managing the preregistration and registration process, scheduling appointments, verifying patient identity, handling cash transactions, and confirming insurance eligibility.
• A commitment to service excellence is crucial in this role, as it contributes to Mubadala Health’s goals of achieving high scores in Likelihood to Recommend and Net Promoter Score.

Key Duties of Guest Ambassador

•  Offering a warm welcome to patients and visitors, ensuring a friendly first encounter.
•  Confirming the identity of each patient upon their arrival.
•  Issuing wristbands to patients, where necessary.
•  Collecting and updating patient insurance and demographic details in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
•  Securing all necessary signatures for treatment processes, including General Consent forms.
•  Distributing the Patient and Family Rights and Responsibilities document in instances where a General Consent is required.
•  Ensuring registration accuracy through comprehensive interviewing techniques, aiming for 100% completeness and precision.
•  Conducting insurance eligibility checks and verifications.
•  Confirming details of scheduled procedures and clarifying any financial responsibilities for the patient.
•  Authenticating Emirates ID as part of the patient identification process.
•  Directing any unauthorized procedures to the Insurance officer.
•  Meeting all compliance requirements to facilitate a smooth claims submission process.
•  Delivering exceptional customer service with a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Qualifications

•  A High School Diploma is required with least two years of experience in a similar role.
•  A Bachelor’s degree presente lieu of two years of work experience.
