Light Duty Cleaner Job at Compass Group in Canada Full Time

Compass Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented light duty cleaner to join their team in Canada. The light duty cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings, including offices, dining areas, and public spaces. Key Responsibilities of Light Duty Cleaner:

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and restock supplies.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways and lobbies.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as directed.
• Perform general custodial requirements and any related duties as assigned (duties include but are not limited to use of various cleaning equipment, vacuuming, spot cleaning, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying waste receptacles and other common areas)
• Restock single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins.
• Complete periodic equipment checks
• Observe/practice all health & safety procedures and policies.

Requirements for Light Duty Cleaner:

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be reliable, motivated, enthusiastic and a team player, willing to assist as needed.
• Must be able to use cleaning equipment (ie. I-mop, vacuum.)
• Physically able to carry out duties of the position.
• Good communication skills.
