Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will assist the maintenance team in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, providing technical expertise for scheduled and breakdown maintenance. You will:
- Apply technical knowledge to maintain and repair specialized food processing equipment, ensuring safe, operational conditions.
- Identify preventative maintenance needs, minimize downtime, and ensure maintenance activities are logged in the MEX system.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors to align maintenance with operational priorities while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety protocols and demonstrate a commitment to safety for yourself and others.
- This exciting opportunity is full-time, operating on 7 days on, 7 days off roster.
About you
- You hold a certificate III in Electrotechnology or relevant trade qualification, with practical experience in plant and equipment maintenance, planning, and servicing.
- Proven ability to undergo training with Marely or other specialized food processing equipment and apply acquired skills effectively.
- Experience with MEX or similar maintenance management systems.
- Strong willingness to learn and continuously improve by applying new skills in day-to-day operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
