MRD Assistant Job in Dubai Full Time

We’re looking for a dedicated MRD Assistant to join our team in Dubai. This role involves a blend of responsibilities, including managing statistics for both management and the Ministry of Health, as well as handling electronic medical records (EMR) for outpatients.

Key Responsibilities of MRD Assistant:

•  Efficiently handle reports from the Outpatient Department (OPD).
•  Ensure all received records are scanned and updated in the computer system.
•  Keep the Ministry of Health’s forms updated and accessible in the system.
• Gather data from various departments in a specified format.
•  Regularly input data into the system for easy retrieval on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
•  Timely dispatch of statistical reports to relevant government departments as instructed.
•  Maintain a detailed log sheet/register for report submissions.
•  Generate administrative statistics tailored to specific requirements and submit them regularly.
•  Proactively follow up on any missing records.
•  Respond to incoming calls with professionalism and provide immediate assistance.
•  Undertake additional duties as assigned by the MRD Supervisor.
•  On request, compile statistics for companies and government agencies.
•  Assess the quality of each scanned record.
•  Organize patient records, ensuring all reports are correctly filed and in chronological order.
•  Audit every patient record to prevent document loss.
•  Collaborate with other MRD assistants for patient record management.
•  Participate in educational programs related to medical records.
•  Report to the Medical Record Officer for any additional related tasks.
•  Act as an infection control facilitator within the department.
•  Dispatch reports to patients upon request.
•  Process and submit sick leave applications to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) online.

Qualifications:

•  A college degree, preferably with a specialization in Medical Record Technology.
•  At least two years of experience in an MRD role.
•  Proficient in computer usage.
•  Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Arabic knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
