Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll be tasked with upholding the highest standards of nursing care for patients and their families. This involves staying informed about the latest evidence-based practices and making sound decisions that align with the guidelines and standards set by the DOH/DHA and MH.

Key Responsibilities of Nurse

Following are Key Responsibilities by Us

•  Manage both incoming and outgoing calls, offering advice that reflects the latest best practice guidelines and business updates.
•  Conduct telemedical triage for patients in the community.
•  Perform thorough nursing assessments and prioritize patient care based on their condition.
•  Verify patient medical records through Malaffi to confirm medical conditions.
•  Follow Medical Guidelines to efficiently handle and sort calls within the Nursing Hub Team.
•  Utilize an electronic Patient Management System for patient management and record-keeping.
•  Promote telemedical skills, including virtual assessments of a patient’s medical history and condition, to provide appropriate care.
•  Coordinate patient referrals to the right level of care, adhering to established guidelines.
•  Provide technical support to the Physician team, aligning with clinical processes.
•  Offer support to non-medical staff through sharing medical knowledge, triaging, technical support, patient registration, and facilitating workflow.
•  Plan, implement, and review patient care for follow-up cases.
•  Embody the Telecare mission and values, and provide comprehensive health education to enhance patient health and wellness.
•  Participate in team meetings focused on patient care and service quality.
•  Ensure a high-quality patient experience and safety during all interactions.
•  Contribute to the creation of a Training Program for new staff, including the development of teaching materials and presentations.

Qualifications

Education

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or an Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or the USA, with a minimum of 2 years of course duration and successful completion of the National exam (NCLEX – RN for the USA, Licensing Exam for Canada).

Experience

•  Experience in primary health care, including general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and general internal medicine.
•  Experience in ambulatory care.
•  Experience in emergency care (excluding intensive care units).

Certification and Licensure

•  Medical Licensure from DOH/DHA.
