Job Overview of A Plumbing Assistant Technician

Installs, repairs and maintains plumbing systems for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Eligibility Criteria For A Plumbing Assistant Technician

Qualification

• High School Certificate
• Industrial Training Institute Diploma (2 year duration) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance or equivalent (post high school) is desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 3 year experience within a Facility Management or similar environment.

Your Duties

• Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety & welfare of self and others at work.
• Read, interpret and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings.
• Correctly setup and use test equipment and interpret the test results.
• Assets Exposure (Direct) Major assets such as:-
  • Pumps.
  • Oil Interceptor.
  • Back Flow Preventer assembly.
  • Faucet and Fixtures.
  • Water Heaters.
  • Pressure Vassals.
  • Toilet fixtures and appliance.

Skills Required

• Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English.
• Working Knowledge in using MS Office (Word / Excel / Power point
