Join our team as a Radiographer, where you’ll be the cornerstone of our medical imaging services. Under the guidance of our Manager, you’ll be entrusted with the vital task of conducting a variety of radiographic exams, aligning your work with the high standards set by MHC and the Department of Health. Your role is pivotal in capturing clear and precise images that are crucial for diagnosis, all while ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.
You’ll be the reassuring presence that prepares patients for their procedures, following the doctor’s orders to the letter and safeguarding their well-being at every stage.
Engage in meaningful dialogue with doctors to understand patient histories and determine the most suitable radiographic techniques and tools for accurate diagnoses.
Take pride in maintaining a spotless and well-stocked examination environment, ready for each patient’s specific needs.
Clearly explain procedures to patients, demystifying the equipment and process to gain their cooperation and ease any concerns.
Before any procedure, you’ll double-check patient information in our Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for unwavering accuracy.
Skillfully handle a range of imaging equipment, adjusting settings to capture the best possible images that reveal the intricate details of anatomy and any abnormalities.
Produce and document high-quality images, conducting regular quality checks to maintain our standard of excellence.
Prepare and present imaging results for interpretation, ensuring both digital and physical copies are accurate and accessible.
Act swiftly to resolve any image quality issues, and escalate persistent problems to our technical team without delay.
Diligently log all pertinent data, including rejected images and radiation doses, to uphold our commitment to transparency and safety.
Lead educational efforts, training staff on new protocols and the safe operation of radiography equipment.
Work closely with our Diagnostic Imaging team to ensure equipment is always in top condition, coordinating maintenance and updates as needed.
Keep meticulous records and reports that reflect the precise services provided to each patient.
