Key Responsibilities of Rheumatologist:
Deliver thorough rheumatology care to patients, ensuring all treatment provided falls within your area of expertise.
Conduct consultations at our Outpatient Department, offering specialized rheumatologic care.
 Provide expert rheumatology consultations for hospitalized patients.
 Collaborate with Orthopedic specialists for surgical referrals when necessary.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to recommend orthopedic aids or corrective procedures, including Physiotherapy.
Offer consultative support to other physicians, surgeons, and specialists, stepping in directly when cases require your specific skill set.
 Refer complex cases to appropriate specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Uphold the medical department’s standards as per the Joint Commission on Accreditation of hospitals.
 Keep meticulous patient records, ensuring all data is complete and accurate.
 Engage in educational activities, including lectures and clinical rounds, to enhance service quality.
 Stay updated on the latest advancements in rheumatology to provide cutting-edge care.
 Maintain the highest professional standards and quality of care.
 Ensure the efficient and cost-effective use of support services such as Nursing, Operations Support, Pathology, and Radiology.
 Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by the Department Head or Medical Director.
Qualifications:
Got your medical degree and completed a year of internship plus three years in residency.
Got that stamp of approval from the American Board of Rheumatology Medicine or a similar body Perfect.
Three years of diving into rheumatology work post-certification, with two of those years sharpening your specialist skills
English fluency is a must, and if you can chat in Arabic, even better.
