Service Line Manager in Bahrain Full Time

Join our team as a Service Line Manager, where you’ll report to the Director of Clinical Operations. Your role is crucial in shaping the smooth operation of our services, managing our talented team, and driving program development. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring an exceptional patient experience and efficient patient flow. Plus, you’ll play a pivotal role in rolling out remote patient monitoring across all Mubadala Health Facilities, assessing its impact along the way.

Key Responsibilities of Service Line Manager:

• General Duties:

• Take charge of Service Line activities, infusing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement into our clinical pathways.
•  Innovate and strategize to boost our EBITDA, aiming for clinical excellence.
• Lead our Feedback Management System, tackling service delivery issues swiftly and effectively.
•  Commit to delivering top-tier care and service, setting the standard in the UAE.
•  Oversee your team with a keen eye, ensuring they meet our high standards in work ethic and attitude.
•  Keep an eye on national and international trends to steer our growth and development.
•  Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and finance to streamline billing processes.
•  Foster strong relationships within the Mubadala Health Network, promoting clinical integration and optimized patient care.

Operational Management:

•  Help shape and communicate our strategic goals, embracing quality improvement and change management.
•  Innovate operational systems and service processes to enhance our efficiency and planning.
•  Lead the development of a comprehensive care model, ensuring seamless care coordination.
•  Manage the day-to-day of Service Lines, keeping everything from budgets to policies on track.
•  Work closely with clinical leads to implement referral guidelines and clinical pathways.
•  Partner with IT to advance our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, supporting clinical documentation and billing.

Leadership and People Management:

•  Be a professional beacon and mentor for your team, fostering a culture of quality and leadership.
•  Manage personnel effectively, ensuring everyone is performing at their best.
•  Drive a positive work environment, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing.
•  Take charge of recruitment, training, and development, ensuring a high level of employee engagement.

Clinical Education:

•  Lead by example, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of service and staff development.
•  Engage in health promotion activities, both within the organization and in the community.

Performance Improvement/Risk Management:

•  Champion a culture of performance improvement and patient safety.
•  Ensure incidents are thoroughly investigated and addressed in coordination with the Quality and Risk Manager.
•  Actively participate in accreditation activities and support ongoing education and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science or a relevant clinical field.
•  Postgraduate qualifications in an operational field are a plus.
•  A Master’s Degree is highly valued.

Experience:

•  At least 7-10 years of postgraduate experience.
•  A minimum of 3 years in people management.
•  Experience as a service manager or in a similar role, preferably in an outpatient or primary care setting.

Certification and Licensure:

•  A valid healthcare professional license.
•  Proof of annual continuing medical education (CME).
•  Relevant certifications like BLS, ACLS, PALS, depending on the specialty.
