Sindh Prisons and Corrections Service is seeking applications from qualified and desirous candidates for the post of Stenographers. SINDH Prisons and Correction Service (SPCS) has 24 prisons across the province. SPCS works in accordance with Sindh Prisons and Corrections service act and rules 2019. The inspector general of Prisons and Corrections Service Sindh, deputy inspector general of prisons, and superintendent of prisons are custodians of the prisoners. They are responsible foe the safe custody of the security of the prisoners, providing living, health facilities, court production, interview, reformation etc.
Job Overview of A Stenographers
Transcribes spoken words into written form using shorthand or stenotype machines.

2 x vacancies are available for candidates having cleared graduation test conducted by IBA Sukkar Testing Service and domicile of Sindh.
Pre Requisites For The Post of A Stenographers
- Minimum 2nd Division graduate degree from recognized University.
- Certificate in shorthand and typing issued by an institute recognized by board of technical education Sindh.
- Candidates must have 100 w.p.m in shorthand in English, Urdu, or Sindhi and 35 w.p.m in typing in English, Urdu, Sindhi as the case may be.
- Maximum age limit is 21-28 years.
