Federal Ombudsman Secretariat is seeking applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the post of Stenotypist on contract basis. FOSPAH is an autonomous quasi judicial statutory body working for the protection against harassment at the workplace. It aims to vanguard the respect and dignity of all workforce and women deprived of their legal share in the property (inherited or owned). FOSPAH belief that awareness is the key to reduce and discourage harassment and deprivation of women’s property rights. It also aims to create safe working environment that is free from harassment, abuse and discrimination, allowing workers to work with dignity. All the eligible candidates must make use of this opportunity and apply for the post.

Overview of Job of A Stenotypist

Responsible for transcribing spoken words into written form using stenography techniques and operating specialized stenographic equipment.

Pre Requisites For The Post of A Stenotypist

• Intermediate
• Minimum speed of 80/40 words per minute in shorthand / typing respectively.
• Must be computer literate.
• Maximum age limit is 22-28 years, 5 years general age relaxation is applicable.
