We’re on the lookout for a skilled System Administrator specializing in ICT Infrastructure to enhance our ICT team.

Role Outline:

In the System Administrator position, you’ll be diving into the analysis, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our corporate ICT Server Infrastructure. Your role spans both cloud-based platforms and on-premise solutions. You’ll be a key player in handling complex projects, shaping end-to-end technology architecture, and advancing our technical operations to foster continuous innovation. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including managing physical and virtual servers, storage solutions, backup systems, and email services.

Key Duties:

• Administer and oversee the entire server infrastructure.
• Analyze and summarize Levels 1 and 2 network reports, reporting key insights to the ICT Operations Manager.
•  Undertake Level 3 Server Infrastructure Administration.
•  Document system changes meticulously.
•  Assist Levels 1 and 2 support teams by providing essential information.
•  Weekly project updates to be communicated to the ICT Operations Manager.
•  Offer Level 3 support through various channels such as phone, email, or in-person interactions.
•  Tackle intricate system issues, ensuring user satisfaction.
•  Educate advanced end-users and provide the necessary information.
•  Adhere to all ICT Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
•  Develop and maintain comprehensive, advanced system documentation.
•  Possess a keen ability to comprehend and interpret technical guidance and manuals.
•  Deep understanding of the ITIL framework and hands-on experience with specific hardware and solutions, including HP Blade infrastructure and storage, VMware, Hyper-V, Office365, Email security gateway, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft System Center Suite.
•  Basic knowledge of the PMP framework.
•  Stay ahead with ongoing technology research and assist in technology planning.
•  Manage multiple tasks and activities effectively.
•  Take full ownership of resolving Level 3 system issues.

Information Security Responsibilities:

•  Adhere with all information security policies and procedures.
•  Secure company-issued devices against unauthorized access and damage.
•  Maintain a clean desk policy, ensuring sensitive materials and devices are secure.
•  Promptly report any security incidents or potential threats to the information security team.

Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, including 3-5 years in a comparable role.
•  Diploma or Degree in Information Systems or a related field.

Technical Expertise:

•  Certifications like MCP, MCSA, MCSE, or MCITP.
•  Proficient in Virtualization (VMWare and Hyper-V), with relevant certifications.
•  Backup and Storage expertise.
•  In-depth knowledge of MS Infrastructure Solutions such as Active Directory, System Center, Azure, and Exchange.
•  Foundation-level understanding of ITIL.
