Tax Manager in Abu Dhabi Full Time

As our Tax Manager or Senior Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things tax-related within our Group. You’ll ensure we’re playing by the rules when it comes to direct and indirect taxes, international tax laws, transfer pricing, and more. It’s all about staying compliant and savvy with our tax strategies.

What You’ll Do as Tax Manager:

Tax Compliance Mastery:

• You’ll be managing the nuts and bolts of tax compliance – think ESR, CbCR, VAT, and the new Corporate Tax. From calculating taxes to filing returns, you’re making sure every tax penny is accounted for and paid on time.
  

  Strategic Tax Planning:

• You’ll put on your strategist hat to devise tax-saving tactics, especially when it comes to moving money around our group companies without giving too much away to the taxman.
  

  Authority Liaison:

• Got a knack for negotiation? You’ll be our face in front of tax authorities, handling any disputes, audits, or litigations, and ensuring our documentation is top-notch.
  

  Advisory Role:

• You’ll be the voice of reason for tax and transfer pricing impacts, offering timely advice on new deals and transactions.
  

  M&A Support:

• You’ll play a key role in due diligence and structuring when we’re eyeing new business opportunities or shaking hands on mergers and acquisitions.
  

  Tax Law Guru

• Stay ahead of the curve on tax law changes, understand their impact, and advise the team to keep us compliant.
  

  Financial Planning Ally:

• Help our finance planners understand the tax implications of their strategies and ensure our business plans and financial models reflect your tax insights.

  Project Participation:

• Dive into special projects, like internal tax audits or improving our tax function’s internal controls.

Systems Whiz:

• You’ll ensure our systems and processes are tax-compliant and work with IT to enhance our accounting systems, keeping an eye out for any improvements.

Your Communication Skills:

•  You’re a pro at talking tax with different teams, ensuring everyone’s on the same page for accurate tax reporting and compliance.

What You Bring to the Table:

•  A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
•  A professional charter like CA, ACA, or CPA, with 8-10 years of tax compliance experience.
•  A hands-on background in UAE taxes and compliance processes.
•  At least 7 years with a Big 4 Tax team in corporate tax, transfer pricing, and international tax.
•  Experience in a multinational tax environment is a huge plus Familiarity with Oracle and Hyperion tools will give you an edge.
