Technical DevOps Engineer Job in UAE Full Time

The primary purpose and role of the Senior Technical DevOps Engineer in UAE position involve driving DevOps and automation practices across both product and program levels.

Eligibility:

• This position is specifically for a UAE National holding a Khulasat Al Qaid (Family Book).

Key Responsibilities as Technical DevOps Engineer:

•  Lead Cloud adoption/migration’s discovery phase.
•  Automate change management, build resilience, and handle monitoring and emergency response.
• Lead service reliability, scalability, and performance initiatives.
•  Collaborate on change management strategies with various teams.
•  Enable automation and maintain continuous deployment pipelines.
•  Build and operate technical environments for software development and deployment.
•  Embrace DevSecOps principles for security solutions.
•  Advise on maintenance of solutions, automating various management aspects.

Qualifications & Experience:

•  Degree in Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
•  5+ years of IT experience in DevOps and Cloud Computing/Migration, including 2-3 years in specific areas like Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration, Linux OS,
• Infrastructure/Configuration management, Cloud Computing/Administration/Migration, and Application development.

Skills Required:

•  Expertise in Hybrid cloud or AWS/Azure Cloud architectures.
•  Proficiency in systems monitoring and analytics tools.
•  Knowledge of CI/CD ecosystem and infrastructure configuration tools.
•  Experience in large scale server environments and Linux management.
•  Skills in Scripting and monitoring/automation.
•  Experience in multi-cloud environment solutions.

Specialized Knowledge:

•  Observability: Splunk, AppD platforms, data analysis.
•  Container Management: Kubernetes, cloud-managed container platforms.
•  Content Delivery Network: TCP/IP protocol, network topologies, DNS, CDN.

Technology Domain Expertise:

•  Clouds, Infrastructure Managers, Container Engines, CI/CD tools, Scripting languages, Operating Systems, Monitoring/logging tools, Provisioning/Config Management tools, IT Services Framework, Networking/Protocols.

Additional Skills:

•  Understanding of DevOps KPIs, SLA/SLO/SLI, and SDLC phases.
•  Experience in postmortems/RCA and infra capacity planning.

Recommended:

• Professional certifications in DevOps, Systems Administration, Cloud, Networking, Agile, SAFe, etc.
