Tractor Trailer Driver Required at UPS in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Full Time

Who exactly are UPS Supply Chain Solutions Driver/Dockworkers? UPS is currently seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii USA. The tractor trailer driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating tractor-trailers to transport packages between UPS facilities and customer locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Responsibilities of Tractor Trailer Driver:

• Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport packages.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Ensure packages are properly secured during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• This position involves the timely pickup, labeling, loading and delivery of shipments, using the required equipment, policies and procedures.
• This position could involve driving a tractor-trailer unit to one or more customer locations and returning to the original domicile during the same shift.

Eligibility Requirements for Tractor Trailer Driver:

• Driver/Dockworkers workdays, nights and/or weekends
• Valid Class-A CDL license (commercial driver’s license) in home state
• HazMat endorsement
• Pass a UPS road test, a DOT physical including a drug screen and all necessary background checks.
• Utilize various pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including pallet movers and stand-up forklifts to load/unload palletized freight.
• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Driver/Dockworker are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
