Urologist job in Dubai Full Time

We’re on the lookout for a passionate Urologist ready to deliver exceptional care across the board. From diagnosing to prepping for surgery, performing the procedure, and overseeing recovery, you’ll handle it all. We need someone who’s equally comfortable with significant surgeries and smaller procedures, ready to dive into a role that’s as much about preventing illness as it is about treating it.. The ideal candidate will be adept at both major and minor urological procedures and will be part of a comprehensive program offering both curative and preventive care. As a urologic surgeon, you will handle complex cases within your expertise and provide both consultation and direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities of Urologist:

• Deliver full-range urological care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring meticulous pre- and post-surgical attention.
•  Provide on-call after-hours care for surgical patients, including daily hospital rounds.
•  Collaborate with specialists for cases that require expertise beyond your scope.
•  Comply with the medical department’s bylaws, rules, and regulations, upholding the standards set by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
•  Consult with anesthesiologists to determine appropriate anesthesia for surgeries.
•  Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
•  Engage in educational in-service activities, such as lectures and clinical rounds.
•  Promote Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
•  Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient and administrative information.
•  Exhibit reliability in fulfilling the responsibilities and commitments of the role.
•  Practice effective communication and active listening skills.
•  Understand and respect hospital policies and procedures.
•  Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Chief Urologist.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from certify institution,with a one-year internship and a three-year residency program.
•  Certification by the American Board of Urology or equivalent (e.g., Member of the Royal College of Physicians).
•  A minimum of five years of urology practice.
•  Proficiency in English, with Arabic language skills being an added advantage.
•  Demonstrated expertise in urology, with sound clinical judgment and leadership capabilities.
•  Current medical licensure in the country of origin and eligibility for a DOH specialist license in Urology in Dubai, UAE.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
