Job Purpose of A Warehouse Operator

Responsible for managing and organizing inventory within a warehouse to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilments.

Job Duties of A Warehouse Operator

• Retrieve and dispatch goods in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts, gantry cranes, and other machinery.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately.
• Assist in unloading trucks and containers.
• Check the quantity of products received and report any discrepancies.

Eligibility Criteria?

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehousing role would be preferred.
• Background experience working in the heavy industry is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working in a steel environment is preferred.

License

• Gantry Crane Lisence.
• Forklift Lisence.
• Must hold a valid Restricted / full driver’s license.

Skills Desired

• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and maintain physical fitness.
• Possess a positive attitude and a strong sense of reliability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
