Egg Lab Assistant Job at Hendrix Genetics in Canada Part Time

Key Responsibilities of Egg Lab Assistant:

• Collecting and preparing egg samples for analysis.
• Conducting tests to assess egg quality and characteristics.
• Recording and analyzing data from tests.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laboratory.
• Assisting with other tasks in the laboratory as needed.
• Weighing, grading, deforming and breaking of eggs
• Data entry and record keeping
• Visit R/T farms as needed
• Following all SOP’s and core company policies
• Other tasks as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous laboratory experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Interest in animal agriculture and breeding
• Education in genetics/science preferred
• Flexible availability to work
