Blue Star is a pear packing warehouse located in Cashmere, Washington that was established in 1907. They are in search of a packing helper to join their packing line helper team in USA for their help in packing tasks. The packing helper will strategically perform tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the organization’s production department. Duties and Responsibilities of Packing Helper:
- Lead by example our company Vision, Mission, and Values
- Be kind and offer solutions.
- Lead by example our commitment to a 5S workplace
- Assure that packers never wait on packing material.
- After each shift, accurately stock packing supplies for the next shift.
- Work with all production personnel to set up packing line daily and make line changes as directed by the Production Floor Lead
- Ensure that the packing line stays properly supplied, always.
- Keep fruit and garbage picked up from floor.
- Keep all packing supplies clean and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1+ years of pear warehouse production related experience
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred not required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be curious, competitive, punctual and detail oriented.
- Must maintain a solid attendance record.
- Must be able to understand English.
- Ability to prioritize.
